This is the perfect fall drink if you enjoy the creamy sweetness of white chocolate and the spice of pumpkin. It also has whipped cream, caramel, and two types of alcohol.
Ingredients
- White chocolate chips or chopped (1/2 cup)
- I used 2%) and 2 1/2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup pureed pumpkin
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- Kahlua 1 ounce (or half the Bourbon)Bourbond cream with caramel ( optional for topping)
Instructions
- Over low-medium temperature, melt chocolate chips with 1/2 cup milk (amount according to the original recipe // adjust for a larger batch). Whisk often.
- Add the remaining milk, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice to the melted butter and mix vigorously.
- Pour a small portion of hot chocolate into two glasses as per the original recipe. Add Kahlua or Bourbon (bourbon Bourbontronger taste). Add hot chocolate to the top, stir, and then add whipped cream, caramel, and pumpkin pie spice.
