ZICO Chocolate Coconut Water inspires this drink. You know what I mean: chocolate coconut water? It sounds weird. It’s NOT. This is my favorite beverage of the last few months.
What does it taste like exactly? It tastes like the rich, creamy, sweet chocolate milk from your childhood, with a slight hint of coconut. Each time I drink this, I wish I was eight again and had a maple-long john. The days were different.
Thankfully, even though this coconut water tastes like pure chocolate milk, it’s dairy-free and makes the perfect base for a post-workout recovery shake with antioxidant-rich cocoa powder, electrolyte-containing coconut water, and a hint of coconut cream for that rich, creamy texture every smoothie needs.
You’ll also find:
- Fiber and healthy fats from flax, chia, and hemp seeds
- are a protein found in peanut butter.
- Potassium in banana
This was the perfect drink to recover from my recent climbing adventure. Remember the list of everyday things that I shared last month. It’s getting there.
Along with indoor rock climbing, I’ve been consistent in my morning meditation, as well as planning intentional dates for John. In August, we went out on two dinner and movie dates. This made me realize that it’s refreshing to do something different from our usual routine.
